In the early 70s, the shop moved to its current location on Ringling Boulevard, taking its name from the iconic Ringling family who played a significant role in Sarasota’s history.
Jackie Hamel, the heart and soul of the shop, took over the family business in 1992 after years of honing her craft alongside her father. She has since continued the legacy, welcoming new generations of customers with the same care and professionalism that has defined Ringling Barber Shop for decades.
